Your Vote = $1, Today and Sunday

Hi jay-

You have an opportunity. Starting right now, $1 will be donated each time you cast your vote for ARC in the Star Tribune Full Page Challenge.

All this week, ARC has been competing to get the most votes and win a full page ad in the newspaper. We're currently in second place! This morning, two long-time ARC supporters are stepping forward to provide some extra incentive to get ARC to the top. Each time you vote, they’ll give $1. You vote. They Give.

You can make double the impact with each vote you cast – getting $1 extra for the refugees we work with and ensuring ARC wins this contest. These donors will continue matching votes until the contest ends on Sunday at 5pm Central Time or until 2,000 votes have been cast.

Voting is easy. Here's how:

  1. Register to vote at: http://startribune.upickem.net/engine/Registration.aspx?contestid=22815. Fill out the required information, then click “Submit”. You’ll only have to do this once.
  2. On the next page, select “American Refugee Committee” from the drop-down menu.
  3. Then, on the next page, scroll down to the "Vote" section. Type the words that appear in the "Verify" section into the box labeled “Enter the words above”. Finally, click "Submit Vote".
  4. Leave the browser window open for easy access for your next vote. Just reload or refresh the page after one hour has passed (by holding down CTRL and “R” at the same time), and you’ll be able to vote again by repeating Step #3.

People around the world – including our staff in Darfur and Pakistan – have been voting to keep us in the running. Please, cast your votes early and often and let your friends and family know about this special opportunity.

And remember to vote every hour!

Thank you for your help!

Sincerely,

-Daniel

P.S. Help us spread the word! Think of 5 friends or family members who would vote regularly for ARC. Send them a message and ask for their help. Ask if they’d be willing to ask 5 friends of their own to help. Or, share the contest with your friends on Facebook or Twitter and ask them to vote for ARC.
