Hi jay,

This is your last chance to have your donation doubled!

Wookie Foot will match your generous gift if you make it in 2010. So, there's only 15 hours left to double your impact for refugees! $5 becomes $10! $50 becomes $100! $500 becomes $1000!

wookieThe WookieFoot Community and one other generous donor have been matching donations all this week - and they'll continue to do so until we reach $23,500.

We don't want to miss out on a single penny that could help a refugee rebuild their life. Refugees need us now more than ever. From the Haiti earthquake to the devastating flooding in Pakistan, this year has been one of intense need.

You can also make a donation in honor of a loved one. We'll send them a card notifying them of your generous gift.

We Did It - Thank You!

Dear  jay-

It's official! ARC has won the Star Tribune Full Page Challenge!!!

20,291 votes were cast to give ARC a thrilling last-minute victory. If you were one of those voters, thank you so much.

Families stayed up all night casting as many votes as they could. Our staff in Darfur and around the world were voting whenever they could get in front of a computer. And dozens of people called and emailed their friends to ask them to join us and vote.

It was truly amazing to see what the entire American Refugee Committee community was able to accomplish by working together toward a common goal. Now we know - that as a group - we can take on even bigger challenges in the world!

Global Volunteers - the organization we competed against until the very end - put up an amazing fight! They and their supporters mounted a tremendous effort for a very worthy cause.

As winners of the contest, we will receive a full-page advertisement in the Star Tribune Sunday Edition - which reaches 1 million people. We will run the advertisement at some point early next year - to build awareness of the the needs of the refugees we work who are living through the worst humanitarian situations in the world.

Again, thank you so much for voting and helping bring attention to the lifesaving work of the American Refugee Committee!

Sincerely,

-Daniel
