| Hello jay, This year was devastating for many families around the world. Millions of Syrians fled their communities for safety, and Filipino families lost their homes to Typhoon Haiyan. ARC has been there in Jordan and the Philippines to help people recover from these disasters. And we’ve continued our critical work with families in Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Somalia, Pakistan and Thailand. Will you help us get off on the right foot in 2014? We have ambitious goals for the new year. We’re opening a new program in Myanmar to help communities struggling with drug-resistant malaria. We’re also launching an innovative social enterprise model in Congo with the goal of drastically reducing child mortality – DRC suffers some of the highest rates of death in children under 5 years old.
